Join us as Certified Genetic Counselor, Mikaela Bradley, shares the findings from her research that asked the question "Does a family history of neurofibromatosis type 1 influence the stress and coping experiences of adults with NF1?"
We know that NF1 is a highly variable condition and everyone has a different experience navigating the condition. Through a survey, Mikaela and her research team learned about common stressors for people with NF1, how people cope with their diagnosis, and patterns of communication within families. Mikaela is excited to share her findings and facilitate conversation about these important topics!
Meeting starts at 7pm.
